Janise (pronounced juh-nees) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), with over 10 years of experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds. She received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany, SUNY in New York, and has worked in Los Angeles, CA since 2017.
Following years of witnessing her older sister silently suffer from what would later be diagnosed as schizophrenia, Janise entered community mental health care to end the shame and stigma surrounding mental illness. She works diligently to ensure her clients see themselves beyond their diagnosis, so they can receive the tools and support they need.
